LOTTO CALYPSO BALL

The TVC's ran as a introduction to the live Lotto draws, screening in peak viewing three times a week. The client requirement was that the TVC's be an signpost sting to the draws, differentiate between the Lotteries products of Saturday, Midweek and Powerball Lotto, while offering the message of "grab a pencil and write down the winning numbers".

The TVC's were produced in Hand Drawn Character animation set against 3D motion backgrounds. A terrific commission as DDFP was able to pitch the complete creative, characters, concepts, production method look and style and work from our own brief..

Each short consisted of 2 shots, the first, a long camera zoom/truck  would  have created havoc on a traditional rostrum camera, however the DDFP digital rostrum handled the 42 field to 8 field truck. 2D to 3D compositing was completed using the AXA Animation system.
