Both the FAT CAT and PERCEY PENGUIN characters have been childrens favourites on Western Australian televsion for many years. The conceptual creative task of FAT CAT TO BED spots - was to revitalise the character without loosing the warmth of it's histroic edge. DDFP Character Animators and designers took to the task of recreating the "Live action" characters in 3D for the Space Adventrure, enabling  seamless cuts between both the live action and computer assisted animation versions of the characters.
